Rockox (2021)

I placed four postcards with images of the Palingbeek in the Rockox Museum in Antwerpen, on top of each postcard I placed a sphere. The Rockox museum tells the story of Nikolaas Rockox, a 17th-century Mayor of Antwerp. The museum thus creates a historical political space. With this intervention, I aim to inject a contemporary political topic into the historical museum. A few days after the intervention I contact the museum to ask for a response. No reply.
